Hall hire

Sticker Scout Group - Hire of hall and field

Due to the terms of our lease we can only hire the hall to scouting people, not to the public.

Prices

This is for the hall and field*

• £10 per hour

• Capped at £60 per day

• Plus £10 per night

• 25% deposit secures the booking with balance due on arrival.

 

* People wanting only to use the field still need access to the toilets, and camping groups often cook indoors for convenience.  Those staying in the hall often use the field for activities anyway, so they go together.

 

Cancellation

We reserve the right to keep the deposit if a booking is cancelled, but if due to unforeseen matters and everyone has done what they can to make it work, we may return the deposit.  As a scout group we are all unpaid volunteers, and hiring our hall helps us raise funds to keep the scout group working.  

 

​Terms & conditions

The Hirer will safeguard the hall and grounds from damage during the period of hire.  The cost of repairing any damage will be reimbursed to Sticker Scout Group.

 

You, the Hirer, are responsible for obtaining insurance cover for your events and activities while using the hall.   Sticker Scout Group will not be liable for any injury or damage caused by the use of the hall unless caused by our negligence.

 

The Hirer will ensure the safety of all activities both inside the hall and outside to minimise the risk of fire, accident or risk of injury to any person.
